Alfie Meadows and Zak King acquitted of violent disorder

On Friday 8 March a jury sitting at Woolwich Crown Court acquitted Alfie Meadows and Zak King of violent disorder.  The charge arose from the summer 2010 riots.  This was the third time the pair faced such a trial, the first and second collapsing due to a hung jury and delay.  More information can be found here.

    In addition the previous day at Kingston Crown Court another student was also found not guilty of violent disorder in a separate trial.
